Pahukama supper club
Some tables feed you. Others bring you closer.
pahukama supper club was birthed from the idea that food is more than what we eat; it is how we gather, how we share our stories, and how we find a sense of belonging. Inspired by the Shona expression pahukama, meaning “regarding family” or “amongst family,” it brings people together around a shared table, where good food opens conversations and strangers can feel like family.
A communal dining experience by Kandiro by Kudakwashe, pahukama explores the richness and diversity of Pan-Afro cuisine through thoughtfully curated menus inspired by the continent’s culinary traditions, ingredients and cultures. Drawing on Chef Kudakwashe’s Zimbabwean roots and broader African influences, each supper club invites guests to discover familiar flavours in new ways, explore the connections between African food cultures and celebrate the creativity of contemporary African cooking.
More than a dining experience, pahukama is about coming together, sharing stories and finding common ground around the table. Every gathering is an invitation to connect, discover and experience African cuisine beyond borders, surrounded by the warmth and familiarity of being amongst family.
Come as guests, gather as family.
